The Apple Macintosh Portable features a 16 MHz 68HC000 processor and 1 MB of RAM in a boxy portable case with a 9.8" monochrome active-matrix display. The Portable was often referred to as the "Luggable" becuase it weighed nearly 16 pounds, but nevertheless, it was still a signifigant advance towards truly portable "laptop" computers.
